Standard Eye Examination - £57.50 (£12.50 for eligible NHS Patients)

Our Standard Eye Examination is a 30 minute appointment with one of our experienced Optometrists and includes the use of our Optomap machine - a specialist piece of equipment that takes an ultra-wide image of the retina at the back of the eye.

 

Enhanced Eye Examination - £82.50 (£57.50 for eligible NHS Patients)

Upgrade your Eye Examination to our 45 minute enhanced service which includes an Optomap image and an OCT Scan (Optical Coherence Tomograph) - a highly advanced imaging system that checks for potentially serious conditions including glaucoma, diabetes, age related macular degeneration, vitreous detachments and more.

 

Contact Lens Aftercare - £55.00

Regular Contact Lens Checks are important to ensure your eyes stay healthy while wearing lenses, so we see our Contact Lens Patients every year. If you would like to try Contact Lenses for the first time, we offer a free trial appointment.


Dry Eye Assessment - £55.00

If you suffer from symptoms such as watery, itchy, sore or dry eyes you can book in to have a Dry Eye Assessment using our Ocular Surface Analyser (OSA). The OSA can be used for diagnosis and management of Dry Eye Disease and Meibomium Gland Dysfunction. We can design a personalised treatment plan for you which may include the use of heat masks, eye drops or regular Blephex treatments.

 

Emergency Appointment - £50.00

If you find yourself in an emergency situation you can book an appointment with one of our Optometrists.


 You are eligible for NHS discount on your Eye Examination if:

  • You're under 16

  • You're aged 16, 17 or 18 and in full time education

  • You're 60 or over

  • You've been diagnosed with diabetes or glaucoma

  • You're 40 or over, and your mother, father, brother, sister, son or daughter has been diagnosed with glaucoma

  • You've been advised by an ophthalmologist that you're at risk of glaucoma

  • You’re registered blind or partially sighted

  • You're a prisoner on leave from prison

  • You're eligible for an NHS complex lens voucher - your optometrist can advise you about your entitlement

  • You’re claiming benefits (Income support, Income based job seekers allowance, Income based employment and support allowance, Pension Credit guarantee credit, Tax credit or Universal credit)

  • You’re on a low income and named on a valid HC2 (full help) or HC3 (partial help) Certificate
